Wayne Edward Lester

 Wayne Edward Lester Sr. 39 of Fort Smith died Tuesday April 9th, 2002, in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3rd 1962, in Fort Smith. He was a graduate of Northside High School, was in the Army and later attended Westark. He was an employee of Arkansas Wood Workers, a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church in Fort Smith, a member of Shady Grove Masonic Lodge No. 28 and coached basketball at Jefferies Boys Club for several years.

 Funeral will be 12:30 P.M. Tuesday at Mount Zion Methodist Church in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.

 He is survived by his wife, Donna; a daughter, Asya Lester of the home; a son, Wayne Lester Jr. of the home ; his parents Marvin and Bonnie Lester of Fort Smith and maternal Grandmother, Trucilla Suratt of Bellville.

 Pallbearers will be Lee Bell, Ronald Williams, Virl Brewer, Terry Harris, Derrick Watson, Jeremy Stewart, Jovan Smith and Carletus Adams.

 Viewing will begin at 8 A.M. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
