Donald White's date of death was April 25, 2005. I had a couple of classes with him at NHS, and we also trained uder the same Karate instructor in the early 80's. Donald later did a tour of duty in the Army. When Donald passed away I was on duty the evening of his visitation at Edwards Funeral Home. At this time, I was looking into taking up motorcycling. Donald himself was an avid rider, plus he was a member of a local motorcycle club, and his brother Sonny, owned a local motorcycle shop. When the visitation started, motorcycles rolled and rumbled into the parking lot; with all types of riders, hardcore and general enthusiast alike. I was taken back by the overwhelming support and love for this man and his family. This sealed it for me, and I later became a rider myself. I only wish I could have done it sooner so I could have spent some time getting to know Donald better. Since that time I have developed strong bonds with my fellow riding brothers, and we cherish the memory of all our fallen ones. Rest in Peace Brother Donald, I'll see you on the road again.
