imothy Matthew McFarland, 54, of fort Smith, AR passed from this life on December 12, 2015. He was born June 13, 1961 in Fort Smith to Tom McFarland and Betty June Chambers McFarland Buckner. The oldest of four, he was a mischievous boy from the get go and did whatever he could to get a laugh. He worked various jobs throughout the years, but his real love was being a "rodie" to various rock bands in the 70's and 80's to his most favorite and proudest time being security for Jimmy Ellis, aka "Orion". He was preceded in death by his father, paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts & uncles.

Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Graveside, Saturday, December 1`9th at Measles cemetery in Lavaca, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving dog Malcom, his mother and step-father, Betty & Don Buckner, one brother Terry McFarland of Barling, two sisters Melissa Watson and husband Barry of Fort Smith and Michelle Hilts of Fort Smith; step-mom, Millie McFarland of Coal Hill and several nephews and nieces.

There will be open visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
