Gaylan Ray Bell, 45, of Alma died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1962, in Van Buren. He was retired from Holiday Inn and KFC and a member of First Assembly of God in Van Buren.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville with the Rev. Clarence Smith officiating.
 
He is survived by his mother, Gail Irene Passmore Hartsell of Alma and his father, Johnnie Ray Bell of Van Buren; three sisters, Nikki Newby of Greenwood, Kristi Mayberry of Greenwood and Jennifer Keeler of Liberty, Okla.; a brother, Toby Bell of Liberty; his grandmother, Elsie Phelps of Van Buren; other family members, Uncle Bill Watson of Alma; three nieces, Kourtney Clark and Haley Mayberry, both of Greenwood, Morgan Lockwood of Van Buren; and one nephew, Taylor Gilbreth of Greenwood.
